In questo evento le competenze di zoologi ed artisti della Wildlife Art si fonderanno nel tentativo di sensibilizzare il pubblico attraverso un "sesto senso" ovvero l'arte nei confronti del gruppo animale di cui facciamo parte: i mammiferi.

Museum of Wildlife Art Ho sempre desiderato visitare questo museo dove sono esposte le opere più importanti della Wildlife Art, da Robert Kuhn a Carl Rungius e dove ho potuto ammirare i grandi lavori del mio ispiratore Robert Bateman.

Old Faithfull è uno dei gayser più famosi al mondo, erutta a intervalli di 65-95 minuti. L'orario di eruzione è pubblicato presso il visitor center. Tutto il bacino è un'insieme di fumi e colori.

Grand Prismatic Spring è la sorgente d'acqua calda più grande negli Stati Uniti.
I colori vivi del lago sono il risultato di batteri pigmentati che crescono lungo i bordi delle acque ricche di minerali.
Giorno 8: Yellowstone NP, Grant Campground, Hayden Valley.
Hayden Valley un'immensa valle percorsa da diversi specchi d'acqua è uno dei luoghi dove è più facile osservare gli animali.

Giorno 9: Yellowstone NP, Canyon Campground, Canyon e Lower e Upper Falls
La tenda a Grant Campground
Canyon e Lower e Upper Falls il falco pescatore vola silenzioso attraverso le enormi pareti di pietra.

Giorno 10: Yellowstone NP, Mt. Washburn
Mt. Washburn (3122 m) un trekking semplice conduce ad uno dei punti più alti dello Yellowstone NP dal quale si può godere di una magnifica vista a 360°.

Lamar Valley il Serngeti americano, una valle molto lunga nella quale è facile avvistare bisonti, antilopecapre e se si ha un po' di pazienza lupi e orsi.

Questi due giorni sono stati molto piovosi ed è stato problematico dormire in tenda. Aspettando che la pioggia dia un po' di tregua lavo la roba in lavanderia

A Gardiner i cervi sono ovunque, per strada, nei giardini delle case!

Wibaux cittadina fantasma. Un sole caldo asciuga la tenda, ancora umida dalla forte pioggia dei giorni passati.

Hayden Valley
Questo è stato il viaggio nei paesaggi, paesaggi infiniti in una natura potente e immensa.

Ringrazio Piero, il mio compagno di viaggio che ha condiviso con me questo viaggio non sempre semplice, ma che credo che verrà per sempre ricordato.

Museum of Wildlife Art I always wanted to visit this museum, which exhibits the most important works of Wildlife Art, from Robert Kuhn to Carl Rungius and where I could admire the great works of my inspirator Robert Bateman.

Day 6: Jackson (WY) - Yellowstone NP, Grant Campground- 93 miles

Old Faithfull is one of the world's most famous geyser. It erupts at intervals of 65-95 minutes. The time of eruption is published at the visitor center. The whole basin is a set of smoke and colors.  

Day 7: Yellowstone NP, Grant Campground, West Yellowstone and Grand Prismatic Spring  
Grand Prismatic Spring is the largest hot spring in the United States. The vivid colors of the lake are the result of pigmented bacteria that grow along the edges of the mineral-rich waters.

Day 8: Yellowstone NP, Grant Campground, Hayden Valley. Hayden Valley immense valley traversed by several water mirrors is one of the places where it is easier to observe wildlife.  


Day 9: Yellowstone NP, Canyon Campground, Canyon and Lower and Upper Falls  
Canyon and Lower and Upper Falls osprey fly silent through the massive stone walls.

Day 10: Yellowstone NP, Mt Washburn

Mt Washburn (3122 m) a simple hike leads to one of the highest points of Yellowstone NP from which you can enjoy a magnificent 360 ° view.

Day 11: Yellowstone NP, Canyon Campground, Lamar Valley, Cooke City Entrance NE, Lower Fall, Inspiration Point

Lamar Valley is US Serngeti, a very long valley in which it is easy to see bisons, pronghorns and if you have a little patience wolves and bears.

Day 13: Yellowstone NP, Canyon Campground - Gardiner (MT), Norris geyser  
These two days have been very rainy and it was difficult to sleep in the tent. Waiting for the rain stop I wash my stuff at laundry.

At Gardiner elk are everywhere, in the streets, in the gardens of the houses!

Finally Wausau! Everything is familiar, it's good to be back.

Navy Pier a quiet walk on the dock surrounded by the waters of Lake Michigan.

Must see The Art Institute. Monet room with his studies of light is one of the most beautiful rooms. 

This was the landscapes trip, endless landscapes in a powerful and immense nature.

I thank Piero, my traveling companion who has shared with me this trip eve if it is not always easy, but I think that will be forever remembered.
